“…expressively and elegantly phrased, beautifully crafted to dream…”
For me, the violin is not just an instrument but a language – a way of thinking, feeling, and expressing oneself. This is exactly the experience I want to share in my teaching. Whether it’s young talents, ambitious students, or adult returners: the focus is always on the individual person with their very own musical story.
In my lessons, I combine a solid classical tradition with modern pedagogy. I don’t see technique as an end in itself, but as a tool to play more freely, shape sound more consciously, and feel secure on stage. This includes a healthy posture, mindful practice, intelligent bowing, tonal refinement – and, again and again, listening: to oneself, to the music, and to each other.
Over the past years, many of my students have won prizes at “Jugend musiziert” and other national and international competitions, been accepted into orchestra academies, or started music degrees at universities and conservatories in Germany and abroad. Just as important to me, however, is the path that leads there: a teaching atmosphere where questions are encouraged, mistakes are seen as opportunities, and stage fright gradually turns into the joy of performing.
I offer both regular one-to-one lessons and focused coaching for competitions, auditions, and entrance exams. Depending on the student’s goals, we work on repertoire, technical programmes, études, chamber music or orchestral excerpts and develop a practice plan together that fits their day-to-day life – realistic, yet ambitious.
Under the umbrella of my Violin Academy, I bring together all offers related to violin teaching: lessons, workshops, online formats, and long-term mentoring models. On the dedicated teaching website, you’ll find detailed information about courses, fees, available slots, and the option to book a trial lesson directly.
